#1
Went out on the Tribute out of seaforth landing yesterday on a 3/4 day. Got to the landing early and all I hear was how wfo it been past couple weeks on 3/4 trip. I got all pumped up ready for a day of fish killing. Bait receiver have some beautiful looking sardine, look like it been curing for a few days. Make the run about 1 hour out then we stop on out first sonar mark. Couple fish boiling on chum right away and bird was diving. 5 rod went bendo right away including my, I thought for sure we're gonna have a good trip. Well....... got 9 tuna from that stop and that was it. Capt work hard all day looking for school or yft but none to be found. Did manage 9 yt and 1 dodo for our effort. A lot of whale and hammer head shark out there today. And ton of skiff couple of which shouldn't be out there, some guy out solo on a 12' Gregor with little 10hp motor.....Hardcore!!! Total boat count was 9yft, 9yt, and 1 dodo. I'm glad I got one and miss the skunk. Hopefully thing turn around soon.
