Bad News Pacific Voyager 2 day charter.
#1
Took off with our group of 19 anglers Tuesday evening. Weather forecast was pretty shitty so we wasn't expecting much of anything. Wednesday was really slow due to wind and off color water, water temp was 65.5°. The boat ended up with 2 yellowtail " one for OTs" We were down 80 miles below SD. Was suprise to see the Thunderbird fishing next to us and the Excel. Thursday started out the same. Look at alot of bird school with mix tuna jumping all over but no bite. I ended up hooking first bluefin of the trip at about 7am, landed that one. Then hook a monster that I can't stop taking close to 500 yards of 50lb braid all the way to the mono/braid connection knot popping off my top shot. After this happen I retie throw back out and end up with a jackpot winning 50lb bluefin. I think boat total was 7 bluefin and 20 yellowtail. My score was 2 bluefin and 4 yellowtail. Not bad for a slow day....[Image: 9a770e7c53684813ee1d0b6a1364b6a9.jpg][Image: 52bc5d0b36f4b5974787a42174aa9c03.jpg][Image: 6bfb20dfdabb89788f3ecab6b4e36215.jpg][Image: 934abf669f6afcf38f8ed129ec49318f.jpg][Image: 01a21e3c0c601f178c2e7b6d681efb46.jpg]
