AWESOME Bluefin slay 80 miles south.
#1
Had a 1.5 day charter on the Voyager Sportfishing out of Seaforth Landing. Left the dock at 10pm pick up some beautiful 5-7" sardine and 3" anchovy mix. Motor sound 80 miles just below Ensenada. Tons of 1" anchovys every, and I mean water was turning brown when they come up. This year was by far the most volume of Bluefin tuna I have ever seen. I'm talking school half mile wide all over the place. Just pick one..... smaller pencil popper was killing it. Flyline bait with small circle hook on 30-40lb line top with flourocarbon leader was the ticket. All our fish was 40-80lb class. We ended up with limit of bluefin and 4 yellowfin for our trip. Til next time hope everyone out killing em.
