2014 in review

Man what a year it was, yellowfin showing up during memorial weekend and pretty much sticking around in big numbers through November. Jumbo bluefin being on our local banks and as of today still being there. And man the yellowtail have been everywhere! I can't remember a much better year than this past one in my young fishing life. My year was topped with my biggest fish ever, 72lb bluefin! Let's show some pics of the fish u caught this year and talk about what our plans are for this one!

RedRock, I agree! It has been an awesome year, and I really hope it continues on to the next season. I didn't get out as much as I wanted to, or catch as much as I would have liked, but I got some good fillets in the freezer and some good stories to accompany a good beer. I don't have any pics since my hard drive got cleaned out and had to start over again, but I hope that will change this year. The yellowtail in my avatar was the biggest one I have caught (still a little guy), and caught him this past season in the Point Loma kelp.

2015 is still going strong! Bluefin STILL at the banks and yellowtail all over still with some WSB starting to show up. Tuna crab are all over our coast too! This mean tuna will be close again? Only time can tell! Can't wait to see what this year will produce
