Looks like 4 of us will be heading down to the Wister for a wed. hunt if this weather keeps like it is, well i think we will do pretty good.
Best of luck, guys! Hope there are a lot of new birds moving in by now!
with the rain and rain on wed. it looks like it should be awesome, never know keep my fingers crossed
Good luck out there Mikey. I saw lots of birds flying south this morning. Hope they all sitting at Wister waiting for ya.
Them ducks are good Mikey, I made up a sweet n spicy marinade for em. Then throw it on the grill. Good stuff. I don't know about the smaller dark color one though. Those are way funky, like eating a super gamie beef liver. Thanks again for dropping them off.
Roommate got out and go a few ducks as well!! Good luck Mikey and nice birds oat!
Your welcome oat, thanks and great seeing you yesterday. hope that SB's roommate did well, ill post pics sometime today
the small dark ducks they say the gizzard and the legs are the best parts
Hey, Oat! Why do I see the breasts of 4 birds on the grill, but only 2 ducks plucked? You said that you had a "...small dark colored one ... that tasted like super gamey beef liver". Sounds to me like someone slipped you a coot -- LOL! There is no way that the teal was stronger flavored than the spoonie as shown! Hahahaha ... you ate coot! :-P
Mikey, I glad to see you guys got some ducks -- still a bit slow down there. Any day now!!!!
Haha.... Yep I ate a coot........ like Mikey said though. The leg was not bad. Didn't try the gizard, don't want gout flair up.
