I did not see this one in the forums, so I thought I'd share my version here.
10 dove breasts
Sprinkle of Zatterain's on each
One slice jalapeno on each
Wrap each breast with strip of bacon -- secure with a toothpick
Grill over hot coals, turning often till done.
Serves 2-3

this is how I like to do it as well, I also like adding a little garlic to them

it does sound tasty, been years, but quail done like that and you got something there

A buddy of mine was going to quit dove hunting because he did not like the taste ... until he tried this recipe. He adds onion chunks, too.
