So the big bait season is coming back at DVL. They are stocking 2000 lbs of rainbows on the 16th. Lets go throw some trout pattern psi lure and get some video footages ...... Game on..
I want to get out there. I will be fishing DVL in April as a co fisherman for the upcoming Bass tournament
April is the best month for largies for me. Love them big o bed fish.
Awesome! Caught my biggest trout out of there so far. It weighed aroung 4.5lbs
They do put in some nice bows in there when Mtn Lasson stock it. DFG plant are tiny catchable one. I saw guys couple years ago useing live trout and caught some stripers in the 30+ lbs. They got busted by fish n game. Too bad trout are illegal to use as bait.

Go there the day after they stock or the second day. Slow troll trout pattern bait around the area they stock. Shoud do pretty good. You can cast and work the fish that way too. I'm just not in to the casting big bait too much. Have bad hands, can only do it for like 15 minutes or so. Then I'm done for, then off to trolling I go.

Me too bud, thats next on my list. I caugt 3 out of the 5 fish for my 2012 goal this year. If i get a striper that will be 4-5 on my goal
So saltwater, when are we going to go and try to get one
