About a month ago I was camping at carlsbad state beach for the weekend. One morning me and a friend get an idea to paddle out this $5 inflateable raft we had past the breakers and fish. Since the raft didnt come with oars we went and bought two toy shovels to use. We somehow made it out and started fishing with strips of croaker, its all we had. Nothing was happening and then all of a sudden my line just starts moving and then peeling out, there was no bite it was weird. The force of whatever was on the other end of the line sent us on the raft spinning in circles. After about a minute of fighting the line snapped so I never found out what it was.
Just another fishing story...

Anyone else want to share any of thier crazy, ridiculous, weird, funny fishing stories. They are always interesting to hear

Mine would be seeing a man out drink the boat entirely, and fall asleep with a sand dab in hit pocket. We still have that sand dab in the freezer today.
