Fished the coranodo islands today on my good friends boat who is a retired FBI agent on his boat"copout" We got were at the 9 and spotted a small paddy and hooked a rat yellow on it. We then went to the north island and started slow trolling deans. Once we did that we hooked up on a yellow threw some bait over the side and literally, went wide open on them. We had free swimmers EVERYWHERE! We had them free swimming, JUMPING, boiling the whole 9 yards. It was crazy fishing today. And once we didnt get any more on the drift we started slow trolling again and never had to wait more then 5 minutes til we got them going again. I was mainly stuck gaffing all the fish since nobody on the damn boat could gaff a fish. So I quickly got my limit and gaffed everybody else til they all had limits then just myself alone must of released at lease 30 more yellows. I was throwing a swimbait just having fun with the yellows on the bow and had a HUGE 30lb BULL DORADO chase the swimbait but spooked at the boat. That is all for now.
