Oh yes I have no joke.... like Mikey just post above about the Jig stick. I have done that a few times my self. Ripped the bags off there head n watch em freak out n swimm back the other way......lol..... Told that to the border pattoll, and they said some of those illegal carry guns. If you want flathead I would suggest brinking minimum of 40# test, 4-6oz sinkers, and 9/0 hooks. Spot I fish are loaded w dead trees n junk. Got to horse these thing out of there hole. Kinda like fishing for yellow in the kelp line..... Oh and one light gear to make bait...
