Got out of school and ran down to a spot to fish for 30 minutes before practice. Fished the low tide, and got 3 spotties biggest was a nice 1.5 lb chunk. All the fish were tight to structure and I was fishing a 3 inch Big Hammer swimbait silver phantom with unibutter applied every 6-7 casts or so. I like using more butter when fishing pilings because usually I get bit as soon as it hits the bottom and the butter helps make the swimbait smell likie something that just fell off the piling the bass is sitting on. Seems to help me personally catch more spotties when fishing tight to pilings. Was just nice getting out to fish for a few and catching fish was the bonus. Its the worst feeling not being able to fish for 2 weeks, so try to get in a few casts whenever I am able too
