Well I was asked to join in on a yellowfin trip. I said OK, now I do not care for going on cattle boats. Started planning the trip and actually backed out do to work. Well work canceled and then I found out and his group where on the boat. So now I am like let's go. We knew that the weather was not going to be favorable, wait 5-8 on 15 to 18 secs with light winds under 8 knots hahah

We left port and didnt go far, now this is a 1.5 day trip.  So why are we stopped at the islands. Whatever  let's fish. First fish 730 by 1115 we are 43 yellowfin from  oat limits and we decided to move on and find a better school. 130 we are on school number 2 limted the boat at 3pm. We called the new loann with 20 fish on board the hit the spot we left and landed 40 more. Good job to capt and crew on both boats. Now back to troll and look for paddy's. I deside nap time 430 I hear the engines back down pin a bait and bendo  on a 16lb Dorado, I think some people where happy but pissed.
Then I hook a 40lb mako and would have had it but some or 3 got thier lines crossed up and we ended up losing it.

All I can say is the "Chief " sportfishing boat is pretty dang food and nice. All the crew and captains are courteous friendly and helpful. And thank you Dale for getting me to go and oattou and your crew where great, thank you.

Then there was this after party . Haha sushi all you could eat.

So I may have a change of heart on cattle boats, well 1.5 day and longer any ways.

Thank you and tight lines.

Ps. I guess I was runner up on jackpot fish less than 1 oz. Haha but I got the dorado.....

Ain't it always like that? You're not all that into something and then when you end up going after all, you have a great time. haha
Right. I still like the private boat better
