so we went we fished and we made it home. still smiling with no fish!

now we go a bit of a late start, i got a txt from a great friend and captain that asked hows the fishing at 630, well we are just getting to the bait receiver. he laughed said all paddy's have already been fished. RIGHT i know but we charged on anyways. the stereo stopped working so that sucked, however the seas where amazing, it was like being on a lake. a little south of the 267 and inland a bit we found paddy's and debris.
4 paddy's spaced out 100 yard plus apart. 71 degree water temp and bait that was amazing. nothing home.... so we picked up the balloons and lumber scraps to search for more.

we found a few more fir nothing and came up on 2 boats fishing a great looking paddy. radio to them and asked if we could slid in, no problem the cabo said but been here 30 mins and nothing. we headed off so smooth we went in the back side of Catalina fished it tight fir short calicos. 1 pm started heading around to the front fished the slide nothing. Seals errrrrrr....
at one point off one of the paddy's we did have a few tuna pop, couldn't get them to go.
so a bite on the island and off home we where to go. hit the reef by the jetski guys and that's when the trouble started.
motor died. this is strange, never have had this issue. battery went out ok we have 2. git it fired up as the man came up. DFG great to say hi and get the updates for lobster season.
now we are off heading home 4 pm, trolled for 6 or 7 miles off the island and again some issues, well lets just head for the barn. stopped on 4 more paddy's and a school of dolphins, nada.
10.4 miles from home and boat dies again only now no restart. BOAT US here are my numbers and the tow home started. well that was the first and possibly the last trip of the season. so the expensive part is 2 new group 27 AMG's. [attachment=3040]
