What's up everyone, I've been mia for awhile now. Went out on Saturday to try for those big boys. Launched out of Dana, picked up some deans and tried to make some macs out of the harbor. Only was able to make 2. Headed straight out into the fog and stopped at the 267 first but didn't look good there. From there we went down to the 209 trolled around for awhile and finally just picked a spot to stop and just soak some baits for awhile. Maybe 10 minutes into a soak my but gets hammered! Maybe 200-300 yards of like gone in seconds! It's on! Fire up the boat and chase it down for awhile, we are ga Ning line back. 10 minutes into the battle the hook pulls, the fish straightened out the hook! Bummer! Throw more baits out and minutes later the same guy gets a blow up on his mac, biggest boil I have ever seen! Runs for like 10 seconds and spits the hook. That was it for us. Big swell and wind made it a rough day out there
