I was in Alaska when the planes hit. We had a 4 hour time difference between us and NY, and I remember being dragged out of bed after the first plane hit to my mom saying that America had been attacked. I will never forget the sacrifices of the brave men and women, or the lives of those lost that day and the years to follow.
