Did a little vacation to Palm Springs with my wife this weekend. 105 degrees fishing the catfish ponds. I got a doze fish this weekend. Bait of choice was bread lol. Biggest fish 5 plus pounds and my wife pulled on a few too. Fun times here is a few pics.

It was so stupid wide open I kinda got bored lol!!! Chum the water with bread and hand feed them a hook! I used my saltwater bass gear! 40 lb floro and a 7/0 that I bent down the barb and wide open lol

Is that the same pond Fisherofmen use to fish at?

Why would you use 40lb. Every time I fish there I use my trout gear

2lb line on the flimsiest rod you have. good times over there. We were there a year or 2 ago and redrock didnt you pull a 6lber out of there? thats a blast
