Last Friday I hopped abord the Gail Force and did some Calico fishing. First cast BOOM I smack a small calico. And cast after Cast it was a fish but all the fish were short and that happend every stop. The yellows swam by but with all the boat traffic the fish swam off. So decided to just screw around and sight fish for perch which fought WAY harder than the calicos. But overall fun times fishing caught about 30 or 40 fish but another great day on the water.
Sunday I had another oppurtunity to work so I went down to San Diego to go on a 1.5 day. Monday we did not start fishing till 8am on the first paddy and it was wide but no tuna just small yellows. After 30 min of fishing we started looking for paddy again the 2 hrs later found another that was the pattern the entire trip. But finally I got a chance to catch one on my calico gear. And then back to work. But the the last stop was mine yellows were at the propwash and boom smack two and that was the last paddy we encountered and trolled our way home. My total 3 yellows.
