So the bite have been going off at Lake Silverwood. Lots of schoolies are being caught, and tons of tiny striper around. Good swimbait action to be had early morning and late in the afternoon. With DFG trout stock schedule for this week thing could get real interesting. Go out there and get them guys. I'm gonna give it a shot some time this week if I can get away from work.
I would love to get up there, been wanting to go for awhile
I'll be up there all the time when I get my boat. But first I need to save up to do some dental work done. Need about 2g for that....ugh... Dodgy
Rent a boat for now??

SUMMIT VALLEY — Winds kicked up early each day but that only seemed to make the bite get even better at Silverwood Lake as weather continues to improve.

“We fished early but not much happened till the wind started to blow,” explained dedicated line-side angler Ted Reed, who fishes most Wednesdays for the privilege of feeding the homeless at a local shelter.

TED REED LIMITS once again with his entire catch going to feed the homeless. This 26-pound linesider was part of a 10-fish limit taken at Silverwood under windy conditions.

“I slow- trolled a swim-bait for a big fish that took me deep into my backing and a good long run,” says Reed. “The fish fought hard and showed just what the striper up at Silverwood can do!”

With the 26-pound striper and 9 smaller fish in the cooler, the limit would make a feast for those less fortunate.

Reed cleans and packs the fish on ice before transporting them to the kitchen in time for dinner. If you would like to help out those less fortunate contact Ted Reed at (909) 591-5938 or on-line through facebook at Facebook.com/FishingToFeedTheHomeless to donate a portion of your catch.

Let go Mikey, save a seat for me. I been fishing there alot this year. Can give you the run down of the lake.
Let put the new shipment of PSI lure to work.
ill be back this weekend oat, we will talk
Ok..... I'm already booked up this weekend tho. Got a ride with a buddy who want to learn SW. My good friend is Gregg Silks who ran Inland Guide Service, and the maker of Z Plug lure. I get the latest on fishing all the time from him. Plan on getting there early if you plan on going. Only small window to get the bigger unit.
It true they are biting. Lots of smaller fish though, and when I say small I mean 12" model. Got them on fly trolled 40' - 50' down. Drifting chovy and night crawler when you locate the school are also effective

Here's today damage.
