im fishing cabrillo beach in two weeks any spots for me its a tournament and i wanna beat some cheaters so please help

Spots are only spot. Tides, waters, temps, areas are only as successful if time is put in. I recommend you pre fish as much as you can. Practice makes perfect. Take a note book, take notes, read the tides, know the tides, moon phases. Fish what's fish able. And remember that the fish will tell you how they like it. When you hook up, remember how you retrieved it. Did you pause, fast, slow, stop, go, it all means something. It's one big painting, paint it pretty.
i know i cant pre fish tho cause im going to mexico this friday thats why i need help

Pull maps, fish the grass, boilers ect. Gonna be your best bet
theres boilers in cabrillo beach
Use squid
haha ok but can i use sardines too and should they be live bait or fresh dead or spoiled
