thanks oats n mikey, I hope they put us on the yellows.. it'll be fun no matter what I catch, i've been working like a dog and a trip to the big lake will help forget it all!! thanks for all the good info, i will put it to use!!

Well, it was a great trip.. caught some fish, (5) a few reds , lingcod, sculpin.. it was killer.. the captain tried to look for some yellow on the way out and coming back in... But no luck... Thank you all for the tips, they all paid off.. I ready to go back out again.. Here are a few pics.. the birds ate my fillet when the deck hands looked away... All good, had a great time...
