Took my two kids to Cahuilla today hoping to load up on some rainbow trout. But trout fishing was a bust......zero trout today. Did get in to some good carp bite though, we had double hook up couple time. Kept couple common carp for catfish bait and release the rest. On one of the double hookup one of my favorite rod got snap. Really bummed me out but still goodtimes out there. Can't want til the flattle starting to chew.

Only two weeks left til our overnight trip. I'm sure you catch plenty of fish then.

I talk to Magnum earlier today. He talk to Captain Mike yesterday, he think water is cold for good exotics. If thing heat up we will be after them on our trip. But one thing for sure.....the BEER will be wfo....lol.......

watch Captain on boards post about the water temp, its still a little cold, however there was a warm spot out there.... just saying you never know what you will find.
